S.E.R.T. courses are designed to prepare those that are responsible for responding to active shooting incidents. The topics cover how to respond, isolate, distract, and neutralize any and all threats from an active shooter. This course covers a variety of tactical subject matters to include: individual and team movement, operational formations, door and threshold evaluation, room entry techniques, building approach and breaching, rescue team tactics, improvised explosive devices, and on-scene expectations. S.E.R.T. also offers training for any organization such as educational institutions and corporations. Employees and staff will be instructed on appropriate steps to survive an active shooter scenario. Staff will be educated on the environment associated with an active shooter. Administration and employees will be trained in how to communicate pertinent information to responding agencies. S.E.R.T. can assist in the development of a plan of action for your organization.

S.E.R.T.’s Sniper Course offers the most intensive five-day training for a beginner sniper. In this course, we will teach the student that marksmanship represents only about 10 percent of the sniper’s responsibility. We incorporate a wide variety of subjects designed to increase a sniper’s value as a force multiplier and to insure his or her safety. Our basic course will educate a shooter on safety precautions, weapon maintenance, sniper equipment, ballistics, marksmanship principles, elevation and windage, judging distance, sniper range card, and others. Once students have passed all of the requirements set forth in the basic course, they are eligible for the advanced course training. The advanced course is also an intensive five-day course which builds on the basic sniper core knowledge. Our highly accredited instructors will educate the student in field-craft in both a rural and urban setting, camouflage and concealment, unknown distance shooting, low-light targeting, and rural and urban hides. Students will be required to pass a very challenging course designed by the instructors.

The occurrence of enemy sniper fire in modern combat has led to the evolution of many countersniper tactics. These aim to reduce the damage a sniper may cause to a military fighting force, which can often be harmful to both fighting capabilities and morale. During the stalking phase of his attack, an enemy sniper will, if time allows, try to identify high-value targets. S.E.R.T. courses will give students the tools and skills needed to spot an assassin before he has the opportunity to attack. This is a very intense hands-on practical exercise course..

During military missions, countersnipers—the cat to an enemy sniper’s mouse—are extremely important to ground troops as well as friendly aircraft. In this highly intense training, students will be mentally as well as physically challenged. Each day, students are required to memorize articles that are placed by instructors throughout the day to be recognized and sought after through memory. Sketches and notes are made of scenes that are constantly changing in order to help students recognize and respond to suspicious activity. .

This program is a five-day course that teaches advanced pistol marksmanship and is designed to enhance shooting techniques and marksmanship fundamentals. Instructors introduce students to intense stress while they are engaging targets from all shooting platforms. Students will develop skills in reloading under stress, moving targets, accuracy, drawing, firing and reloading under various stress and time restrictions.

This class will focus on the basic understanding of S.W.A.T. operations, including: S.W.A.T. history, swat sop, physical fitness/wellness, equipment, weapons systems, intelligence gathering, rapid deployment/raid planning, barricaded persons, hazardous warrants, noise-flash diversionary devices, and team concepts. Students will be challenged mentally as well as physically. Instructors will take a newly selected team member to operator status in this grueling five-day course.

This course is designed for the S.W.A.T. operator that has completed a Basic SWAT school. Students will be introduced by classroom and practical exercise to advanced repelling, vehicle assault, bus assault, train assault, hostage situations, barricaded suspects, and more. Students will also be educated on the operations of the command post. Training in a live-fire shoot house will cover hostage rescue and room assaults. This intense course will culminate with a final simunition (simulated ammunition) exercise.

Our driver training courses push the envelope with the most intense advanced training available. The goal of the program is to teach students to take a patrol vehicle to its limits and beyond while maintaining control. Students learn vehicle dynamics, weight transfer, tire pressures, cornering, braking techniques, and proper steering inputs. Our qualified staff of instructors will train students on proper pursuit techniques and reinforce them with mock pursuit training. Our graduates are ranked as some of the best precision drivers.

This course is designed for those who are responsible for the safe transportation of others in hostile environments. Students will learn vehicle dynamics, weight transfer and control, precision handling, coordinating motorcade operations, ramming, protecting against attacks on a motorcade, Y-turns, J-turns, U-turns, 90-degree slides, and anti-kidnapping techniques. Graduates from S.E.R.T. are educated in anti-terrorist attacks. Classes are intense and cover all necessary subjects to enhance the student’s skills. Our students learn by getting behind the wheel and experiencing first-hand situations through simulated attacks.

This course will cover the full range of Executive Protection and Force Protection's basic concepts and principles, including topics such as philosophy, history, methodology, mechanics, movements, dimensions, threat assessments, and mission checklists for the protection detail. This intensive seven-day course consists of extended training days. Our instructors have real-world, global experience, and they evaluate students throughout this course to ensure that graduates leave S.E.R.T.with a high standard of professionalism and excellence. Force Protection Since the events of September 11, force protection training has turned its focus from primarily bases and personnel in foreign countries to bases and personnel within the United States as well. Recent natural disasters have also presented new challenges for local law enforcement. Because of these new force protection demands in today’s world, our staff is committed to providing the best, most innovative training available. S.E.R.T. instructors have experience in overseeing force protection for U.S. nuclear sites in Europe as well as providing security for Air Force One.

The S.E.R.T. Tactical Medic training course has been developed to provide the most realistic, hands-on training in the tactical medical field. Experience in the battlefield has proven that the sooner you can administer medical attention to a victim, the greater their survival rate. This course uniquely integrates medical and tactical education, hands-on training, scenario-based teaching, firearms instruction, and personalized attention from our training cadre. Students are introduced to both medical and tactical skills that are necessary when operating in a hostile environment.

Techniques taught throughout this course are realistic, easy to learn, and have been proven during real-world situations and in combat. S.E.R.T. believes that through realistic combat training our instructors will forge warriors that not only survive encounters, but end engagements as fast as they began. Students will learn how to control and neutralize attackers through body mechanics, angles of attack, balance, joint manipulation, and proper striking techniques. Our instructors and prior students have tested and proven the effectiveness of these tactics in real combat situations.
